3/4 cup butter, unsalted
1/2 cup granulated sugar, turbinando or coconut sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp almond extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup almond flour
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/3 – 1/2 cup World of Chia Raspberry Fruit Spread
1/3 cup confectionery sugar
1. Spread butter over bottom of 8 x 8 baking pan. Arrange half the bread cubes on the bottom of the pan. Spread with World of Chia Fruit Spread. Top with the remaining bread cubes and arrange in one layer in the pan.
2. In a large bowl beat eggs, milk, syrup, vanilla and salt to blend. Pour mixture over bread. Turn bread cubes to coat. Cover with plastic and refrigerate overnight.
3. Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake French Toast Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
4. Serve with berries, maple syrup and/or World of Chia Fruit Spread.
